SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Tests // no.1
I’ve been testing various SEO tools (Surfer, Hike, etc.) for a few months with the goal of building some advantages on a few select keywords. So far I’ve made the results worse with the latest tests. And yet, today is another day and we’re going to keep at it.
Backlinks are one of the next efforts. The domain really only has up to go from here with backlinks.

If you’re like me, you forget to have your side dish ready for the party ahead of time and you whip one up as fast as a bullet train before heading out the door. But, I only have so many ideas.
In an effort to assist us all we’re building a collection of quick side dishes to use in marketing emails and such as blog post. This link points to what we have so far. The onions in the coleslaw… great tip via Sterling.

Tag accounts in stories for views // no.3
Views are either up +20 persons because 1) it was a long weekend and people spend more time on social or 2) because I started tagging accounts in stories. Grocery stores with products we used in the sides blog post were the first tags used over the weekend. This story’s tag was of a company that makes a fantastic sharpening system. Anyway, views on stories are up a bit.

Updates regarding school meal legislation:
Five states – California, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota and New Mexico now have state funding to provide free meals in schools. A new effort to continue the pandemic coverage for school meals was introduced at the Federal level earlier this month. link.
The Senate and House in Vermont have Passed H.165 to provide meals free of charge in schools. The bill awaits the Governor’s signature.
The form used for application to the lunch program is getting an update. link.
Washington state is considering legislation to provide school meals to K-4th grade students under certain conditions. link.
The Governor of New York is aiming to raise the allocation of money for free meals within the state in her 2024 Budget. link.
Efforts to make meals free of charge are underway in many other states including Delaware, North Carolina and Rhode Island.
